Skin Prep
- Exfoliate hands, arms, and feet 1–2 days before
- Avoid lotion or oil on the day of your appointment
- Skip waxing or threading on the henna area the same day
What to do in the days before your appointment, and what to expect when Sana arrives on the day.

A little preparation makes for richer, longer-lasting color and a smoother appointment for both of us.
Leave the paste on as long as possible — most brides get the richest, darkest color by keeping it on overnight and sealing it with a lemon-sugar mix before bed. Avoid water contact for the first few hours after the paste comes off, and the color will continue to deepen over 24–48 hours.
Before booking, note the areas you want covered, the style of design you prefer, the number of people receiving henna, and the time available at your location. Share clear inspiration images if you have them, while allowing the final layout to be adapted to your hands, feet, outfit details, and appointment schedule.
Coordinate appointment timing across services with the bridal makeup planning guide and bridal hair styling guide. Planning the three services together helps avoid rushed transitions on the wedding day.
